This is a tattoo design I did for my friend Matt, who (while only 24) is probably the hugest KISS fan out there. The guy loves them. He'd been kicking around a KISS tattoo idea for a while but never really knew how to put it all together while still containing all he wanted.
He finally came to me and asked if I could do something with it, since he had some ideas but not a solid picture. He gave me the general idea and I came up with this. Matt's a fan of the KISS comic and so he wanted to have a bit of fantasy mixed into the design. As the title implies, Matt invisioned this "Elder" as he called him watching over the creation of KISS. It was pretty humorous to watch; just how intense Matt is about his favorite band. He's an awesome friend and I knew his passion about KISS so I made sure to make it look great. Needless to say, he absolutely loved it  . |
